Large sliding window to covered terrace 3m x 3m with gas BBQ. Fabulous pool/garden/sea view. Free street parking Swimming pool used by 3 apartments maximum. HEATED October/April at extra charge of 55e/week/apartment. Excellent beach is a 5 minute drive. The beautiful Port area is a 7 minute drive. Aldi & Mercadona supermarkets are close by. We have German/French/Dutch/English satellite, a library of DVD's, many in German, ping-pong, some German & English books. We live in the 4th apartment and will be able to assist you between 09.00 - 19.00. We have lived here for 10 years and know some special places to visit. | Beschreibung der Ortes und der Umgebung: | Estepona is a lovely, charming 'undiscovered' part of this famous coast. Spanish from Madrid & Barcelona come here for their holidays. It is a great location for exploring as it is close to Puerto Banus, Marbella, Casares & Gibraltar (all less than 40 minutes drive). Seville/Granada/Ronda/Malaga/Cordoba Cadiz/Tarifa/Jerez/Nerja/Antequera are all less than 2 hours drive. Estepona old town is charming to walk around with many inexpensive places to drink or eat there. 'Menu Del Dia' (3 plate lunch) is about 10e. If you like the excitement, noise, tourists, crowds, overcharging, very tattooed people, souvenir shops of places like Marbella, Benidorm, Fuengirola, Torremolinas & Nerja you will not like Estepona. If you want somewhere charming to relax in typically Spanish surroundings, try Villa Tranquilla in the uncommercialised location of Estepona. |

The accommodation was excellent and the owners were so helpful with advice on places to go, but also a doctor that speaks English, the police station to report a lost purse and other things. We have just booked to return in 2012 (for our third visit.) Steve & Diane, Edinburgh.
