The Cave-House Calatrava is located in the pure heart of the Tabernas desert, the only desert in Europe.

The Casa Cueva Calatrava, equipped with the comforts and services that require modern life and typically decorated to retain its traditional features, is a type of accommodation appropriate to the current tourism demand for peace, countryside and ethnic authenticity. The Cave House is a real ethnological museum of more than two centuries old where visitors can see and feel utensils and lifestyles of yesteryear. It is a home with a natural bio-climate.
The house is divided into three cozy rooms, situated inside the cave. Two rooms are equipped with double bed. All beds are equipped with a complete outfit.
This is the part of the house that is inside the cave, which ensures a constant temperature and nice to sleep well at night as at noon, where a nap at 22 ° when outside is 35 ° is quite comforting.
A large cozy living room equipped with a comfortable sofa bed, fireplace, chandeliers and a wide variety of novels. The kitchen is integrated into the living room by a bar.
A room where the environment surrounding the house mountains, peace and quiet will not forget the ubiquitous television, will delight for a chat with friends or reading one of the many books you will find in the house. But we also thought about the everyday comforts lovers, for they have equipped the room with TV, Freeview, air conditioning and heating. Finally, in case of emergency, the house has lanterns and candles.
The house is equipped with toilet, sink, large bath, hot water, first aid kit, personal hygiene products for both women and men and towels.
We also put at your disposal a complete kitchen with all appliances and tools that you might need for cooking: gas cooking, dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, grill, and a long list that will not regret anything at fault.
At the entrance of the house is a large terrace with magnificent views of the Calar Alto, Sierra Nevada and Sierra Alhamilla, from which you can enjoy superb sunsets.
