It ison front beach location 100m alongside the amazing Mediterranean 'natural lagoon' the Mar Menor. You many places to park your car and it is a quite place. There are an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants nearby meaning a car is not needed. Everything you could possibly want is on hand including beaches, splash pool (shared), shops, bars and restaurants. The surroundings are truly Spanish, although the English speaking locals could not offer better hospitality. The region has its very own micro-climate making it the warmest Costa in Spain! The World Health Authority have designated the area as one of the healthiest places in the world! |

| Beschreibung der Ortes und der Umgebung: | The Costa Calida is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas in Spain, and lies along 253km of stunning Mediterranean coastline known as the Costa Calida, which literally means “warm coast”. Murcia enjoys an enviable climate – over 300 days of sunshine a year with an average temperature of over 20 degrees, and you can see why it is called the market garden of Europe with all the varied crops being grown. The Mar Menor is the largest saltwater lagoon in Europe, covering a surface of 170sq.m. and having a maximum depth of only 7 metres. This area boasts mild winters, very low annual rainfall and over 3000 hours of sunshine each year, giving the region a very dry atmosphere all year round. The waters themselves have very high therapeutic qualities and together with the climatic conditions have produced large deposits of mud and clay. These muddy deposits are believed by many to contain natural healing properties, particularly for many skin complaints. |
